Child Dedications

When: Sunday, May 12th at Church

What is Child Dedication

In the scripture 1 Samuel 1:27-28 and Luke 2:22 we see parents entrusting their children completely to God. Deuteronomy 6:5-9 describes God’s plan for how parents are to raise their children.

One step in your commitment to nurture your child in the ways of God is to dedicate them publicly through a Dedication Service.

In the Child Dedication Service, parents are expressing their desire before their family, the Church, and God to raise their child in a God honoring way.

If this is something you would like to do with your child(ren) please talk to Pastors Brad or Cait or email [email protected] by May 7th.

Anyone who is interested in knowing more about Jesus and how they can grow in a relationship with him.

It is also a way to connect with one another and to hear about what FWC Church is all about. You do not need to have it all together, or know everything about the bible before coming. We say “just come as you are.”
